SALEM THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS FOR

CHILLING TALES 2009

Salem Theatre Company announces open auditions for their annual presentation of Chilling Tales to be directed by STC Artistic Director John Fogle.  Chilling Tales 2009 will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Edgar Allan Poe, and be performed Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from October 9-31 in Salem. Auditions will be held on September 8 and 10 at 7:30 pm at the Salem Arts Association Gallery, 24 New Derby Street, Unit 1, in Salem, MA.

Actors are not required to attend both evenings of auditions, but should arrive by 7:30.

The director is looking for engaging male and female actors with strong storytelling skills. Rehearsals will be held during September and early October. Actors will be paid for performances. Prepared audition pieces are not required; readings will be conducted from the Chilling Tales script.
